Was watching Rugrats the Movie with my kid, and within the first scene where they show the Pickles ride I thought “no...is it....it is! A Citreon!” They even had the push button brakes too! :D

And in the show they drive a first-gen Dodge Caravan, IIRC.

Really? Nice. I guess I’m proud of myself cuz I recognized it. It means I'm paying attention to cars more. I'm currently watching Burn Notice and they have a lot of cars in it. Up to season 3 and there been two pt's, :). A 1st gen and a 2nd.

It’s why I asked him. I looked at what he said, then mine, his, mine, his....I’m thought “what’s the difference?!”. So I asked just Incase.

I never realized the PT Cruiser had a design change. I like the front on the older version better. I can’t distinguish any other changes.

Really? Well, the 1st gen had two different styles of bumpers, one was that black plastic and the other had body color bumpers. But they were identical in shape and design. 2nd gen had the bumper more flush with the car, it looked like it was a part of it. And the rear turn signals were different colors between the gens. The interior also got a complete overhaul. For example, the shifter. Gen 1 had a ugly shifter with a button on the front of it, gen 2 had a ball (making it look like a stick) with the button on top.
Under the hood, they are mechanical the same. I guess you can say it was more of a facelift. But, this is where it gets weird, I’ve looked up the reliability of the pt over the years, and they seem to get progressively better.
